Nõo Lihavürst produces a wide range of Alderwood smoked sausages which are packed in a single film coil using the Flow Pack method, plus an adhesive label. For scale and production economies, the same printed film pack design is used. The film design uses the brand identifying burgundy red, plus the central illustration form the logo, thus resulting in a language-neutral pack possible to used in all Baltic and Nordic markets.

With so many similar looking products in the range, it turned out that using a serving photo (on the very small label) only seemed to make it more difficult to distinguish between products. The solution was to add colour coding to differentiate between flavours.
